Are we doing anything with QR codes at the workshop? It be handy to have something printed on name badge or back of the t-shirts that points to the schedule

The CeLC2011 used QR codes on the back of name cards and they were a #FAIL … I saw maybe 3 people out of 300 delegates use them … I asked nearly everyone I met there and most people said they saw them, but ’don’t use them’
It would be fun to use QR codes, but not sure if name tags would be the best. If we are going to use them, the QR codes should take you to the members’ profile at etug.ca
At Northern Voice the QR code on the back of the t-shirt pointed to a search on the #NV11 tag. There it was used but for sure that’s the right crowd for it.
Hmmm, I like the idea of pointing to the member list in etug.ca
Maybe I’ll do up a personal QR code for my own etug profile to add to my badge. Ditch the business cards!
great idea to add QR code to your badge
